Saudis hold high-scoring Spain to one goal in loss
Spain coach Luis Aragones emptied his bench for Friday’s meaningless Group H finale at Fritz-Walter Stadion, and his subs stepped up to defeat Saudi Arabia 1-0. It was far from a perfect effort, however, and a second-half letdown by Spain kept the outcome in suspense until the final minutes.

SAUDIS COLLAPSE LATE
Tunisians bag stoppage-time equalizer
Tunisia grabbed a dramatic stoppage-time equalizer to pull even with Saudi Arabia in a 2-2 draw on Wednesday. Tunisia held an early lead but Saudi Arabia scored goals in the 57th and 84th minutes and held the lead in the 90th minute before Tunisia answered late.

No team that has qualified for the World Cup the past four times has gone through as many coaches as Saudi Arabia has. The Asian country changed coaches again after they had qualified for Germany 2006. The question is whether Brazilian Marcos Paqueta can find a way to lift the Saudis into the second round.
