LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Football Club has begun construction of its new soccer stadium on the former site of the Los Angeles Arena. The Los Angeles City council has unanimously approved the Final Environmental Impact Report and other environmental and entitlement agreements for the Los Angeles Football Club, allowing the team to move forward with its planned soccer stadium on the site of the Los Angeles Sports Arena, next to the LA Coliseum.
