Injury, illness, suspension likely to keep Galaxy DPs off the field against Islanders

Juninho has scored three goals in his last three games for the Galaxy, a hot streak that might come in handy on Wednesday, since all three of the team’s DPs are expected to miss the team’s CONCACAF Champions League match against the Puerto Rico Islan

The Los Angeles Galaxy might be without their three designated players when they host the Puerto Rico Islanders in a CONCACAF Champions League match at the HDC on Wednesday (7:00 pm).
Robbie Keane will be sitting out the game after being red carded in the Galaxy's 5-2 win over El Salvador's Isidro Metapán last week. Landon Donovan is still nursing a hamstring injury and David Beckham has been feeling ill.
Donovan is officially listed on the Galaxy's injury report as doubtful with a hamstring strain. Beckham is not listed on the report at all, not a surprise, since the Galaxy are notorious for under-reporting injuries.
The North American Soccer League's Puerto Rico Islanders are coming of a 0-0 tie against the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Friday night. They arrived in Los Angeles on Monday, and have trained for two days at the HDC.
The Galaxy, after winning last Tuesday night against Metapan, defeated FC Dallas in league play on Sunday, 2-0.
