BERHLATER BURIES IT
Gives Galaxy 1-0 win with PK

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz---Greg Berhalter buried a penalty kick in the 29th minute to give the Los Angeles galaxy a 1-0 win over the Kansas City Wizards in a pre-season scrimmage on Friday.

Edson Buddle earned the penalty kick when he was taken down by goalkeeper Eric Kronberg just before the half of the short-length scrimmage.

Kansas City put a lot of pressure on the Galaxy in the second half, but could not find the back of the net.

The two teams will meet again in just two days, this time at The Soccer Stadium on the campus of Arizona State University.
