Los Angeles Galaxy General Manager and Head Coach Bruce Arena will not be on the bench for the team’s game against the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena Saturday night. Arena was taken ill on Wednesday and was hospitalized over night on Thursday at the Hoboken Medical Center.

CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy has claimed rookie goalkeeper Brian Perk off waivers from the Philadelphia Union. A native of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., Perk was waived by the Union on Friday after being selected by the club in the fourth round (49th overall) of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft.
