Chivas falls to Sounders 3-1
TUKWILA, Wash.---The third time did not turn out to be the charm for Chivas USA, who fell to the Seattle Sounders FC 3-1 at the Starfire Sports Complex Wednesday night. Nate Jaqua scored two goals and Steve Zakuani had two assists for Seattle. Jesus Padila had the Chivas goal.

Chivas USA travel to Seattle in Open Cup semi
Fresh off a 1-0 victory over D.C. United in league play, Chivas USA will travel to face Seattle Sounders FC in a crucial U.S. Open Cup semifinal matchup this Wednesday, Sept. 1. The match will take place at the Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila, Wash., and will kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT.

CARSON, Calif.—Justin Braun’s goal in the first half and goalkeeper Zach Thornton’s fourth shutout of the season led Chivas USA to a 1-0 win over DC United at The Home Depot Center Sunday night. The win raises Chivas’ record to 6-11-4 and drops DC United’s record to 4-15-3.

CARSON, Calif. – Chivas USA has signed former Chivas USA U-18 Team member Bryan de la Fuente of Bell, Calif., as a Home Grown Player. De la Fuente, 18, has played in the Chivas USA Youth System for the past three years, and has experience with the United States Under-20 National Team and in the Chivas de Guadalajara youth teams.

FRISCO, TX--- Brek Shea woke up the crowd at Pizza Hut Park with a thundering header from just right outside the six-yard box in the 71st minute that gave FC Dallas all the scoring it needed in a 1-0 victory over Chivas USA on a hot Saturday night in Texas. That was the game-changer, but goalies from both teams made highlight plays that prevented more scoring. Shea struck his fifth goal of the season, connecting on a perfect pass from left back Jair Benitez.
