Chivas add Mexican Roberto Nurse
CARSON, Calif. – Chivas USA has signed 24-year-old forward Roberto Nurse, a three-year veteran of Mexico’s First Division, as an international player. Nurse, who has been training with the club since early June, is eligible to play for Chivas USA pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate.

Fee for Guzan settled
CARSON-Chivas USA and Major League Soccer have agreed to a fee with Aston Villa for the transfer of goalkeeper Brad Guzan. According to reports in the British press, the fee is as much as £3 million ($5.98 million).

It looks like Chivas USA goalkeeper Brad Guzan is finally England bound. Major League Soccer has worked out a deal to transfer Guzan to Aston Villa of the English Premier League.
