CARSON, CA—Giancarlo Maldonado’s early first half goal led Chivas USA to a 1-0 win over Pachuca in a Group A match of the 2010 Super Liga Tournament at The Home Depot Center on Wednesday night. Goalkeeper Dan Kennedy registered the shutout for Chivas, making only one save.

A total of seven players who participated in the FIFA World Cup in South Africa are on the rosters of teams in the 2010 SuperLiga 2010.
