Just chalk up another win for the winter weather.
Negotiations between Major League Soccer and the MLS player union Wednesday was postponed because of the snowstorm, the Associated Press reported.
MLS commissioner Don Garber, president Mark Abbott and several league representatives were scheduled to travel to Washington, D.C. to meet with union officials.
It is not known when talks will resume.
The parties have until Friday to reach an agreement on the Collective Bargaining Agreement, which was extended from the original deadline of Jan. 31 so a work stoppage could be avoided. That original deal was a five-year agreement.
