Naimo resigns as LA Blues coach
FULLERTON, Calif.---Charlie Naimo has decided to step down as coach of the LA Blues after leading the club for the two years of its existence in the USL PRO league.
Though the club has not officially announced the resignation, Naimo made it official on his Facebook page.
"It is official, I have stepped down as coach of the LA Blues but will remain VP for the time being. I will miss the relationships but it is time for change," he said in the posting.
The Blues finished the 2012 season with a 9-12-3 record and missed the playoffs after qualifying in their first season. Naimo also coached the team's W-League affiliate the Pali Blues.
