Danladi, a Ghanaian who came to California for high school as part of the Right to Dream Academy near Santa Barbara, was the catalyst behind the Bruins' late-season run to second place, behind NCAA champ Stanford, in the Pacific 12 Conference and the second round of the NCAA Division I tournament, with five goals and six assists in the final 11 matches. It's the beauty of his contributions, with a good percentage climaxing brilliant maneuvers, that's most impressive. He was a first-team All-Pac-12 and All-Far West Region selection after scoring six goals with 10 assists in 19 games, and he has 11 goals and 16 assists in 31 matches over two seasons in Westwood.
