UCLA's men's struggles as the No. 1 team in the nation deepened Sunday evening, when a critical error by goalkeeper Earl Edwards Jr. gifted No. 17 California a 1-0 Pacific 12 Conference triumph, giving the Bears a season sweep and dropping the Bruins' record to 2-3-3 when they are atop the NSCAA rankings.
