CARSON, Calif. Ė The LA Galaxy and midfielder Stefan Ishizaki have mutually parted ways. Ishizaki, 33, departs after joining the Galaxy prior to the start the 2014 season. He played his final match in a Galaxy uniform Saturday in a 4-0 victory over Toronto FC at StubHub Center. Complete story

Dempsey deserves a nice, long, stiff ban
I always thought that if Clint Dempsey was going to get into trouble again, it would be because of his elbows and not his hands.

Dempsey has a history of doing damage to the jaws of opponents in the past and as I have learned from covering sports all these years, old habits die hard.
