Indictments, arrests made in FIFA, CONCACAF corruption
CONCACAF President Jeffrey Webb was among those arrested by Swiss authorities on Wednesday as part of the US Department of Justice's investigation of corruption in international soccer. Indictments were handed down and arrests made Wednesday in what might be the largest corruption scandal in sports history. Swiss authorities, acting in conjunction with United States law enforcement officials from the Justice Department, F.B.I. and I.R.S., either arrested or indicted 14 individuals at the highest levels of soccer.
