PORTLAND, Ore.---The Los Angeles Galaxy are getting comfortable in the Pacific Northwest. The Galaxy won their fourth straight game, fifth counting an Open Cup, by defeating the Portland Timbers 2-1 at Providence Park Saturday. The win was only the third on the road this season for Bruce Arena's squad, with one of the other two coming earlier this month in Seattle.

On Saturday, the WNBA rescinded a fine it had issued to several teams and players because the players used pregame warm-up gear to promote social causes.
It wasn't that the league objected to the players taking a social stance, hence the rescinding of the fine. The players in question wore shirts that said #BlackLivesMatter and #Dallas5.
